Domain transfers are tracked via the DomainTransfer entity. The domainManager function initiates the transfer via the gaining registrar's API, monitors the transfer status via EPP polling, copies DNS records, and updates the Domain entity when the transfer completes — typically in 5–7 days.

Will my website go down during transfer?
No. DNS records are copied during the transfer, so your website and email continue working without interruption.
Do I lose my remaining registration period?
No. The transfer includes a one-year extension. If your domain expires in 6 months, after transfer it will expire in 1 year and 6 months.
How do I get the EPP auth code?
Log in to your current registrar's dashboard and look for 'auth code', 'EPP code', or 'transfer key'. If you can't find it, contact their support.
Why can't I transfer my domain?
Domains must be 60+ days old, unlocked, and not recently transferred (within 60 days). Check with your current registrar if the transfer is rejected.
